typical!!!! This company doesnt care about its members, its purely about money for these people. Joke of a place. How many stars would you give TruGym? Plus side, plenty of cardio equipment. Stockton branch- good value and friendly staff but the steam room has been out of order for weeks and no sign of it getting fixed. The lockers are hardly ever working and even after paying quite a bit we are told to bring in our own padlocks for the locker. The hygiene is not the best and most of the times the lockers dont work, however as a person who covers and the only ladies gym around the price isnt too bad. For 3 weeks every time I attended the gym my card would not allow me access and I would sometimes be waiting around for 15 minutes for a member of staff to be let in. I find the booking system for classes difficult to work out which is why I havent booked any yet. All exercise bikes not working, along with many treadmills and crosstrainers out of order for weeks. The law is too good for TruGym though who just ignore refunds after blatant breaches of contract.My branch shut down down and I never received a membership refund. The classes are great, but tend to be morning or tea/time evening, and not much early afternoon when I'm free.Overall I'm very happy with trugym! All rights reserved. On their website and on the front door of the place it said that membership fees would be refunded pro-rota within 7-10 days. They closed them for new drainage, but there are still issues with some not having locks that work or hooks.Also, there is broken and damaged equipment that has not be sorted for some time now.Never see staff either.This is why they are so cheap, but they have some good classes, although you have to check each week as it does not seem to be consistent, Staff not so friendly And poor knowledge Dont approach to see if you are ok to offer better techniques.
